Gardening Scotland 2018

We are incredibly proud of our ALL THE HILLS AND VALES ALONG garden. Inspired by Scottish poet of the First World War, Charles Hamilton Sorley, who died aged just 20 at the Battle of Loos in 1915.
Huge thanks to artists Daniel Campbell, Jeanne Mundy and Dan Metcalfe, to the veteran team of Jimmy, Jim, Jason, another Jason, Davey , Ali , and to veteran and volunteer Scott Laird who works for the CWGC and spent his days off helping us to create this garden to commemorate the lives, not only those fell, but those who returned to All the Hills and Vales Along. Thank too to Clare and Wend, and Broxburn Academy whose pupils came to help with ideas as well as manpower!

Gardening Scotland 2018 took place from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd June at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.
