Billy and Bravehound Max
When Gulf War veteran Billy Bradley began suffering from nightmares after returning home, he began self-medication as a coping mechanism.
As his quality of life became progressively worse, suicide became a very real danger – until ‘Bravehound’, a charity set up to help veterans cope with PTSD and mental health issues, introduced him to dog Max.
Now inseparable, Max helps Billy with the more difficult aspects of daily life and the pair join us to tell their story.
